Refund Policy
This policy explains YTVT's additional refund promise and how refunds for Paddle transactions are requested and processed. Paddle acts as merchant of record for enabled paid checkout. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern the payment transaction.
Nothing in this policy limits a mandatory consumer right. If applicable law, Paddle's terms, or another binding right gives you greater protection, the greater protection applies.
1. Purchase Type and Cancellation
A single-month purchase is charged once and ends automatically after 30 days. It does not create an automatically renewing subscription.
A recurring monthly subscription renews until auto-renewal is turned off. Turning off auto-renewal normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, prevents the next charge, and does not automatically refund the current period.
2. How Refund Eligibility Is Decided
Refund eligibility is decided under Paddle's Refund Policy and the consumer law that applies where you live; YTVT does not offer a separate refund guarantee of its own. A request submitted through YTVT is forwarded to Paddle, which decides whether to issue a full refund, a partial refund, or no refund. Submitting a request is not a guarantee of approval, and a transaction that has already been refunded or charged back is not eligible. YTVT may decline to forward a request where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, quota bypass, account sharing used to avoid limits, or repeated refund abuse. Approval ends the related paid access and may remove paid minute balances and paid features.
3. Grounds That May Support a Refund
A purchase, whether a first purchase, a recurring renewal, a plan change, or add-on minutes, may qualify for:
- a mandatory statutory withdrawal, cancellation, or refund right;
- a remedy for a product that is materially defective, unavailable, or not as described;
- a discretionary refund considered by Paddle; or
- another non-waivable right under applicable law.
Paddle may review certain refund requests case by case. A request or review period is not a guarantee of approval.
4. Add-Ons
Add-on minutes are delivered for the current paid access cycle and expire at the end of that cycle. Mandatory, defect-related, and applicable Paddle refund rights remain available.
5. How to Request a Refund
You may:
- contact YTVT Support at support@ytvt.app with your account email, purchase date, and Paddle order or transaction ID;
- use the receipt or management link in the email sent by Paddle; or
- visit Paddle Buyer Support and choose the relevant option.
Do not send a complete payment-card number. You can also start a request from the billing page of your YTVT account or from the YTVT extension, which forwards it to Paddle. Requests are reviewed through Support or Paddle so that statutory rights, technical defects, and regional rules can be considered.
6. Processing
Approved Paddle refunds are returned through Paddle, normally to the original payment method where possible. The time for funds to appear depends on the payment method, card network, bank, and region.
7. Defects, Disputes, and Chargebacks
Contact YTVT Support if a persistent technical problem prevents access to purchased features. If the issue cannot be resolved, you may also contact Paddle. Nothing here limits lawful card-scheme dispute or chargeback rights. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in temporary restrictions while the transaction is reviewed.
8. Policy Priority and Updates
Mandatory consumer law always applies. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern Paddle's transaction process.
Material changes will be published on this page and will not retroactively reduce rights already attached to a completed transaction.
